Final record 2011: 6-14
How’d the season end: Nyack lost in the second round of sections to Pearl River
2011 graduates: Jessica Gelbman, Jouberte Durandisse, Becky Leone, Hannah Towers, and Julie Breshin
Key returners: Tiffany Salcito (SS), Megan Sneeden (Catcher), Michaela Conntreras (P), Alex Bacalan (2B)
What holes in the lineup need to be filled: 3B Becky Leone who was also our power hitter
Fresh faces (key newcomers): Mackenzie Johnson (P-7th), Emily Lazarus (3B), Alyssa Sullivan (OF), Ronya Kinslow (OF), Amanda Cano (OF)
Team strength: Although still young, the team is growing more and more together every year. Many girls are involved in travel softball playing all year round.
Area that needs improvement: Experience, we are still young. Our 2 starting pitchers are in 7th and 8th grade and our catcher in 8th.
Tournaments that you will be in or hosting: We will be hosting our Red & Black tournament in April.
Expectations for the season: To continue to grow together as a team, work hard, and win
