2012 Season: 10-12
Playoff finish: Beat Ossining then lost to JJEF in Sectionals
Season Outlook: ‘The Lady Huguenots have 11 athletes with Varsity Experience and will be relying on strong Senior Leadership for the upcoming season. Alesandra Greco (shown left – Carucha L. Meuse/ The Journal News) along with Kelly Dillon are returning All-Section Players looking to lead by example as well as fellow Seniors Chloe & Gabrielle Ciraco, Jenna LoPachin, and Nicole Fortuna. Key returners will be Kasey Dillon and Rebecca Karlin along with Kristi Lise. The additions of Stephanie Ryder, Devin Spady, Lindsey Sorota, Taylor Olson, Sophie Nesci, and Hannah Miller coming up from JV will hope to add depth to the squad. This team has worked very hard during the off season with their position coaches, trainers, travel squads, and clinics to prepare for 2013 Schedule. They as well as the coaching staff have worked hard to put our experiences from last year behind us and learned several ways to channel those inconsistencies into hopefully consistent winning softball.’ – Collins

Preview of the team: ‘We are looking to change the culture of Hastings Softball and make us a respected program in Section 1. One of our biggest strengths is the power of our hitters and consistency one through nine. We have been working very hard to start fresh with a positive outlook.
